After having read reviews about My Place decided that I would ring them and find out some information re shared support for a young woman with an intellectual disability. Their charter says respect, and an open and honest communication. I couldn't even get Mel to return a phone call after ringing and leaving my number twice and being assured by receptionist that my inquiries would be answered. This after waiting 5 days!!!I've now gone with another agency and would NOT recommend My Place to anyone I know and who use similar agencies. If there was a forum where I could put in a formal complaint I would use it. I just hope that one of the directors sees this and some changes are put in place.

Great company, they listen to what you want and strive to meet your requests. Great staff, great communication. Highly recommend for anyone who requires their services.

Been with them for 8 maybe 9 years after going through countless number of other providers. One of my good mates is a guy who used to work with me this company has made so many wonderful memories 4 me we have more in the pipeline already!

Not interested in the person with the disability only after their NDIS funding. Would not recommend!

Poor management, poor communication skills, don’t return phone calls, lake of interest once you have signed up, they dumped me as soon as my funding was running out, I could go on and on..

Hands down the most caring agency out there that strive to make your life better...No others come close to competent that give you control over your life.
